Prices The prices listed below are "one-time" costs for the Well and all the income it generates. This is not a lease, and you do not need to send us any revenue splits. You own the Well, control where it is placed, and all the revenue it produces. In that sense, you are "buying" the income along with the physical device. The Two and Three-Footers come with everything you need to put them into service immediately, including a 2-sided generic 4-color "Proceeds go to" poster that fits inside the clear sign frame, a padlock and 2 keys, a coin bucket inside the base, and the other items described and pictured on the "What is included" page. |

Shipping Cost Savings: If you are interested in getting any of the small mini-well Vortx's, there is room in the open spaces of the large cartons used for shipping the Two or Three-Footer Wells. Since the shipping rates are based on the dimensional weight (size) of the boxes rather than the actual weight, we can add up to 25 Vortx's with a Three-Footer and up to 20 with a Two-Footer at no additional shipping cost. Therefore, if you want any Vortx's, ordering them at the same time as a large Well will save a lot of money. Even though the Seven Footer is more expensive than the other sizes, the great news is that it is EASIER to get it sponsored than the smaller sizes. There is no need for a museum, zoo, host store, or charity to pay for it when there are other businesses who would love to get their name on it since it is displayed INSIDE a popular retail store or attraction.

The basic Seven Footer includes the funnel with its 8 built-in ramps, an enclosed and secure base welded to the funnel, and a door with a lock and 2 keys. Click here to read detailed descriptions and see close-up pictures.
Coin Box
While the Two and Three-Footers come with a 1-gallon plastic bucket inside to make it easy to retrieve coins, the Seven-Footer does not include a bucket or coin container. You can supply your own pan or container, or you can order a sturdy steel box from us for $50.00. This box is made to hold the maximum amount of coins (about $1,000 worth in US coinage), and fit through the door. It is 9" wide x 7.5" tall x 15 3/4" long (22.9cm x 19cm x 40cm). Of course, if you let that many coins accumulate, it will be VERY heavy. (Note: You will not want to let the coins just fall into the base because it becomes time-consuming to reach in and pick them up.)
Sign Options
Sign options allow you to use our generic or custom printed sign, or you can make your own.
Is our sign required? No, not at all. You may not want to use a sign, or you may want to hang a sign from the ceiling or display it by some other means. In fact, if you can locate your Well where you can hang a sign from the ceiling, we think that is the best option because it will be out of reach of children.
The majority of our customers that want a sign connected to the Well order the fiberglass rod from us, then make their own sign locally. All modern small sign makers use digital 4-color printing on vinyl, and laminate that to plastic, so it is very easy to make them locally. The plastic sign boards are easily zip-tied to the fiberglass rod. You are not limited to the shape of our standard sign which matches the arc of the rod. You can make the sign in any shape, and it can be larger than the arc of the rod. If it extends up beyond the rod, you would want to apply your signage to two pieces of plastic and "sandwich" the rod.

If you order a rod, we will drill the mounting holes in the ramps and weld a receiving block on the inside. Crating and Shipping Cost for Seven Footers
Seven-Footers are custom-crated (fully enclosed and padded) and strapped to a pallet. The total dimensions including the pallet are 72"x72"x38" high (182.8cm x 182.8cm x 96.5cm). The total weight is 260 pounds (118kgs). It ships as Class 250 freight. When one Seven-Footer is ordered, the packaging is a "DO NOT STACK" format. If you order multiple Seven-Footers, we add a layer of crating so they can be stacked. Therefore, additional Wells add 40" (101.6cm) each to the height.
It is possible to un-strap the enclosure from the pallet and hand-lift it off the truck. Two average strength people can lift it, but four are better. It is not terribly heavy…just bulky. Be advised that it may arrive in a large truck as we do not have any control over the size of the delivery vehicle.
Crating cost is $95. This is waived if you are able to pick up the Well at our factory in Lebanon Ohio. This would require a pick-up or other similar vehicle.
Shipping varies depending on the location, ranging from $150 to $825 to USA and Canadian destinations and closer to $1,400 to $2,000 for most international locations. If you are outside the USA, please click here for more information.
Seven Footer Coin Guide Option
If your Seven-Footer will ONLY be used for physics demonstrations with balls (ball bearings, marbles, bb's, etc.), you can order it WITHOUT the plastic coin-guides on the top of the ramps shown here. Otherwise, we will include the coin-guides, and you can still use it for demonstrations with balls since they don't need to be launched from the top of the ramps.
